Measuring Distances
This page contains directions to measuring distances on Mars.
1. Open JMARS.
2. Zoom in or out to find your feature, or use the magnifying glass search icon. You can also right click on a location and choose "center window" or use the pan tool (hand).
3. Choose the measure tool (ruler icon) from the top horizontal tool bar.
4. Click, hold and drag across the area. The distance and azimuth are displayed in the lower right corner.
